Id al Fitr:-
Means the 'Festival of Breaking Fast'. 'Fitr' is derived from the word 'fatar' meaning 'breaking'. The fast of Ramadan is broken with special prayers and festivities.
Celebrated on the first day of the new moon in Shawwal, it marks the end of Ramadan. In the morning everyone takes a bath, wears new or clean clothes, applies perfume, eats dates or some other sweet before walking to the mosque for Id prayers.
Men wear white clothes because white symbolizes purity and austerity. On this day, according to the Quran, Allah has intended a dole for every Muslim who is free and is in possession of alms worthy capital. This Id-ul-Fitr alms are given to the poor on Id-ul-Fitr.
Charitable gift, called Sadaqah Fitr, is a dole to break the fast. It is to be given to a needy person as thanksgiving. The amount to be gifted must be in excess of one's essential needs and free from all encumbrances of debt. Food grains or their cost are permitted to be donated. The Quran also specifies the grain and their quantities. A person should give 3.5 lb of wheat or its flour per head, or 7lb of barley per head or their cost. These prayers can be read anytime between sunrise and just afternoon. Even women in veil attend the prayers in special chambers.
The 30-day fast is broken on Id-ul-Fitr with sumptuous feasts during which people embrace each other three times, as is laid down in the Quran. The festival originated when after proclaiming Ramadan as the period of fasting and austerity, Muhammad announced a day for celebrations to reaffirm the feeling of Id-ul-Fitr brotherhood.
Women prepare sweets at home. People then go for Id get together and socializing. Some people visit cemeteries and stay there for many hours, often even camping out overnight. This is perhaps to honor their ancestors and to be with their spirits. To a devout Muslim, Id is a time to forget all past grievances.

On 'Id ul Fitr or 'Id ul Adha Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) went out to the Musalla. After finishing the prayer, he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms. He said, "O people! Give alms." Then he went towards the women and said.
"O women! Give alms, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you (women)."
The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the reason for it?" He replied,
"O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women, some of you can lead a cautious wise man astray."
Then he left. And when he reached his house, Zainab, the wife of Ibn Mas'ud, came and asked permission to enter it was said, "O Allah's Apostle! It is Zainab." He asked, "Which Zainab?" The reply was that she was the wife of Ibn Mas'ud. He said, "Yes, allow her to enter." And she was admitted. Then she said, "O Prophet of Allah! Today you ordered people to give alms and I had an ornament and intended to give it as alms, but Ibn Mas'ud said that he and his children deserved it more than anybody else." The Prophet replied, "Ibn Mas'ud had spoken the truth. Your husband and your children had more right to it than anybody else."

Allah's Apostle enjoined the payment of one Sa' of dates or one Sa' of barley as Zakat-ul-Fitr on every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the 'Id prayer. (One Sa' = 3 Kilograms approx.)

(the slave of Ibn Azhar) I witnessed the 'Id with 'Umar bin Al-Khattab who said, "Allah's Apostle has forbidden people to fast on the day on which you break fasting (the fasts of Ramadan) and the day on which you eat the meat of your sacrifices (the first day of 'Id ul Fitr and 'Id ul-Adha)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 3.215 Narrated byAbu Said Al Khudri
(who fought in twelve Ghazawat in the company of the Prophet). I heard four things from the Prophet and they won my admiration. He said;
1. "No lady should travel on a journey of two days except with her husband or a Dhi-Mahram;
2. "No fasting is permissible on the two days of Id-ul-Fitr and 'Id-ul-Adha;
3. "No prayer (may be offered) after the morning compulsory prayer until the sun rises; and no prayer after the 'Asr prayer till the sun sets;
4. "One should travel only for visiting three Masjid (Mosques): Masjid-al-Haram (Mecca), Masjid-al-Aqsa (Jerusalem), and this (my) Mosque (at Medina)."
*** Considering the fact that there was no Temple of Solomon, or any mosque in Jerusalem in the time of Muhammad, his instruction is false and arroneous and shows a complete lack of knowledge and reality.
So much for the ALLEGED 'greatest of all prophets' who could not tell the PRESENT or the PAST, let alone the FUTURE ***
Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 5.268 Narrated byAisha
That once Abu Bakr came to her on the day of 'Id-ul-Fitr or 'Id-ul-Adha while the Prophet was with her and there were two girl singers with her, singing songs of the Ansar about the day of Buath. Abu Bakr said twice, "Musical instrument of Satan!" But the Prophet said, "Leave them Abu Bakr, for every nation has an 'Id (i.e. festival) and this day is our 'Id."
*** Muhammadan Islam is the only CULTIC BELIEF SYSTEM that is totally without any joy, fun or pleasure for its followers: no music, no dancing, no poetry, no painting, no sculpting, no wine, no gambling; in short, NO LIFE.
The world then, should not be surprised at the actions of SUICIDE BOMBERS, who expect ETERNAL, CARNAL & SENSUAL PLEASURES with 72 VIRGINS, in DEATH ***
